I found this great vintage material while on a girls’ weekend a couple of months ago. I love how bright and fun the colors are! I know this isn’t everyone’s style, but I think this could make a summer outfit stand out or bring a little brightness when we’re stuck in never ending January.

I’m about 1/4 of the way finished on this baby blanket. My niece is due in a month, so no time to waste!
I’m doing a granny stripe and am going for an ombré effect. I’ve started with plum stripes and the next section is raspberry…the next section will be a lighter pink and the last section will be lighter still. I’ve flipped the last stripe of the plum section and the first stripe of the raspberry section so the sections will seem interlocked. Fingers crossed it turns out as nicely as it has in my head!
I’m still sitting on that pile of vintage fabric. Last night I did some pretty significant rearranging of my crafting area. I’m hoping to get back to sewing a few things soon!
We just got back from a week-long visit with family in Pennsylvania. As much fun as it was and as good as it was to see everyone, it was so good to sleep in my own bed again!
While we were there my husband’s aunt gifted me with some vintage fabric. I can’t wait to work with it!
There isn’t enough of this for a scarf, but I might use it as an accent on a solid-colored one.
I love how soft these colors are!
I’m pretty sure my grandmother used to have sheets in that rose pattern.
Maybe there’s enough of the kitchen print for an apron…hmm…
I think this one is my favorite.
I’ll get to work as soon as I finish the blanket I’m working on. I have a niece due next month, so I have a bit of a deadline!
